Variety description

'Sylvana' is a selection of the native forest blueberry. The small shrub is only about 20 - 40 cm high and grows stiffly upright. In contrast to the cultivated blueberries, 'Sylvana' needs a semi-shady location, but of course just as much bog bed conditions. Fertilizer is also used with bog bed fertilizer that has an acidic effect.
From the 3rd/4th Year of standing, you should gradually remove the oldest shoots, provided that around 5 - 10 shoots remain. The shoots can also be cut back to around 20 cm at a higher level.
