Variety description

The raspberry Primeberry® 'Autumn Amber®' is a classic autumn raspberry, which means: it bears fruit on the one-year-old canes. With only medium growth, 'Autumn Amber®' is also suitable for gardens that do not have the space for a fast-growing raspberry. The upright growing shoots of 'Autumn Amber®' remain well under 200 cm and thus enable a pleasant harvest and good care. Good branching and the formation of many lateral shoots result in extreme fertility and a long harvest window.
As the name 'Autumn Amber®' already suggests, it is a raspberry with yellow or orange to apricot colored fruits. On cold September nights, the color can also change to a salmon-pink. The fruits have a very attractive shape and a fine structure. For a yellow-fruited variety, the fruits of Primeberry® 'Autumn Amber®' taste surprisingly aromatic. Otherwise the taste is mainly sweet with only a subtle acidity.
