Variety description

Although almost white, Ribest® 'Blanchette'® also belongs to the Ribest® family. Blanchette'® is characterized above all by the fact that it produces large berries on long clusters, which are also extremely mild. Not only does it have more sugar, it also obviously has less acid. Harvest time is mid-early, late June to early July. Yields are regular and high.

Ribest® 'Blanchette'® stands out compared to other currants with its slightly lighter foliage and very healthy growth. It is resistant to powdery mildew and shows hardly any premature leaf fall. The variety grows about 140 - 160 cm high.
