Variety description

The Lowberry® Little Black Prince® blackberry is an absolute novelty: it is the world's first truly compact autumn blackberry. A property that was previously only known from raspberries. The absolutely thornless dwarf blackberry is a maximum of one meter high and bears fruit on the one-year-old canes. A big advantage: Lowberry® Little Black Prince® does not require any scaffolding. This definitely makes the blackberry a container plant, perfect for a location near the kitchen on the balcony or terrace. And so the idea of picking a few blackberries for the morning muesli from the nearby bush in no time at all became a reality.

Pruning Little Black Prince® is very simple: if you cut everything back completely in autumn, flowers and fruits will appear on the new shoots, and harvest will start in mid-August. If you leave a few old shoots standing, short side shoots will form on them, on which ripe berries will already hang in July.
