Variety description

Easycrisp® Madame Sanssouci is the healthiest of all Easycrisp® gooseberries, which are all characterised by their very good tolerance to mildew. The somewhat leathery leaves are an indication of this, so the robustness of the bush is already apparent. It is also worth mentioning in terms of the spines: there are really almost none! Another characteristic is the late ripening in July. This variety is therefore ideal for the snack garden, where you can harvest a few fruits a day. If aroma and sweetness are missing, the fruits are not yet ripe enough despite the red colour.
