Variety description

The compact Peachly® Yellow mini peach is an ideal plant for a pot on a balcony or terrace. Its compact growth is genetically determined, so it is hardly surprising that the Peachly® Yellow mini peach does not require pruning. When fully grown – at around 10 years – the Peachly® Yellow mini peach reaches a height and width of 150 cm.

In May, a large number of pinkish-pink flowers appear. If a fruit were to form from every flower, it would simply be too much for such a small tree; therefore, manually thinning out the developing fruit is highly recommended. When the fruit are about the size of a thumbnail, enough should be removed so that there is about a hand’s breadth of space in all directions between the remaining fruit.

The fruit of the Peachly® Yellow mini peach – as the name suggests – has yellow flesh. The skin is golden-yellow with faint red ‘cheeks’. The fruit of the Peachly® Yellow mini peach tastes sweet and juicy and has a lovely peachy flavour.
