Variety description

The large beefsteak tomato Open Sky® 'Vivagrande®' comes from the outdoor tomato cultivation of the Culinaris company near Göttingen. Open Sky® 'Vivagrande®' convinced us so much in our own field tomato trial with their health and their resistance to Phytophthora - which are definitely equivalent to the Open Sky® varieties from the Lubera® - that we included them in our field tomato have taken up the assortment.
Open Sky® 'Vivagrande®' is a classic beefsteak tomato with pleasantly firm fruits weighing around 200 g. The fruits have a good tomato aroma and taste mild and balanced. Open Sky® 'Vivagrande®' is not a really fast-growing variety, so we recommend growing with just one shoot. With a single drive, Open Sky® 'Vivagrande®' is about 180 cm high.
