Variety description

Sugaroot® 'Yellow' impresses with a pleasant sweetness that is much more pronounced than that of the standard varieties. Sugaroot® 'Yellow' is therefore a sweet potato that lives up to its name.

Like all sweet potatoes, 'Sugaroot® 'Yellow' grows vigorously. It captivates with its light green, heart-shaped foliage. Throughout the summer, long, strong shoots develop with a dense foliage cover. The tubers are somewhat elongated. The skin is light purple, the flesh light yellow. It largely retains its colour even when cooked. The texture of 'Sugaroot® 'Yellow' is only slightly melting. The variety is therefore very suitable for fries.
