The ornamental sweet potato Sugarbeauty® 'Little Lady Hostaleaf®' is one of the most compact ornamental sweet potatoes in the range. With a shoot length of not much more than 40 cm and an average yield of more than one kilogram per plant, Sugarbeauty® 'Little Lady Hostaleaf®' is already an amazing variety and you may ask yourself where this yield can come from such a compact plant. The compact shoots of Sugarbeauty® 'Little Lady Hostaleaf®' have dark green and healthy leaves, which are very similar in appearance to a hosta plant or even reminiscent of a morning glory. Sugarbeauty® 'Little Lady Hostaleaf®' has a development time from planting to harvest of around 110-120 days. Planting in the second half of May will result in a harvest in the second half of September. Depending on the weather conditions in autumn and the condition of the plants, the harvest can also be postponed.

The tubers of Sugarbeauty® 'Little Lady Hostaleaf®' have a striking pink-orange skin colour in combination with an intense and bright pure white flesh. And the tubers retain this beautiful white colour even when cooked/heated. When cooked, the tubers have a pleasantly melting texture and taste wonderfully sweet.
