Variety description

Bluecrop' is very popular and is considered a standard medium-ripening variety. The variety is very vigorous and reaches heights of 120 - 150 cm. Like all cultivated blueberries, it loves acidic soil or a bucket with acidic ericaceous soil.
'Bluecrop' flowers in June, is self-pollinating, resistant to irrigation and produces consistently high yields. The harvest is concentrated in the second half of July. The ripe berries stay on the bush for a long time if they are not harvested - and protected from bird damage in good time. A mature, healthy shrub will yield around 2 - 4 kg on average.
