Variety description

There is an undisputed star among the everbearing garden strawberries: Parfum® 'Ewigi Liebi'®. It is the first everbearing variety that can really compete with the best single-bearing varieties in terms of sweetness and fruit quality. And it also delivers consistently throughout the summer - "eternal love" also in terms of reliability. The aroma is fully developed when the fruits have turned dark red. This is when the fruity sweetness with the unmistakable wild berry aroma is best experienced.

Parfum® 'Ewigi Liebi'® grows compactly and forms quite a lot of runners, the foliage is dense and healthy even in the summer. In the garden bed, you can also remove the runners so that it really concentrates exclusively on generative growth. By the way, everbearing means that the variety is day-neutral and thus the plant forms flowers and fruits all summer - in contrast to many classic varieties that are single-bearing and fruit in May/June.
