Variety description

The open-ground pepper OpenSky® ‘Speedy Rosina®’ is an early-maturing tomato pepper with strikingly round fruits. OpenSky® ‘Speedy Rosina®’ has been specially bred for open-ground cultivation and therefore requires no protection from the weather. The fruits of OpenSky® ‘Speedy Rosina®’ are flat and round in shape and ripen from creamy white through pinkish-red to dark red. The fruits of OpenSky® ‘Speedy Rosina®’ have a pleasantly sweet-sour flavour with a good paprika aroma and only very mild heat (0.5/1 out of 10). The heat becomes more pronounced as the fruit ripens. Even the cream-white fruits are ready for harvesting. The first (as yet uncoloured) fruits can be harvested from mid-July onwards.

OpenSky® ‘Speedy Rosina®’ plants grow upright and sturdy and require no additional support in the garden.
