Variety description

Jonkheer van Tets' is a red currant classic. It is an early, strong and upright growing variety. It grows about 150 cm high and about 100 cm wide.

Due to the early flowering period, the variety is somewhat endangered by late frost. In some years it tends to trickle down a bit. However, the yield is usually medium to high and regular. The large berries are on medium-long clusters and ripen as early as mid-June to early July.
