Variety description

Kiwi 'Jenny' is a female kiwi (Actinidia deliciosa). It is one of the so-called self-fertile kiwis. However, these are parthenocarpic fruits, i.e. fruits that develop without prior fertilisation and are therefore seedless. This is accompanied by the fact that parthenocarpic fruits usually remain smaller. A second plant in the vicinity improves the yield and fruit set and also leads to significantly larger fruits. Nevertheless, the kiwi 'Jenny' is an interesting addition to the assortment and is particularly suitable where there is simply no room for a second plant - and you still want to harvest fruit.
