Variety description

The female kiwi 'Koryoku' is a very interesting, pleasureful variety. The high sugar content and the low astringency thanks to the fine tannins make the small but fine difference. The sweet, fresh fruits are bright green on the inside, which is also visually very appealing. The fruit size of the female kiwi 'Koryoku' is medium-sized, so it does not quite come close to 'Hayward'. Otherwise, the female kiwi 'Koryoku' is absolutely comparable to the other classic market varieties: it needs a pollinator, is vigorous, should be advantageously somewhat wrapped up in the first winters and requires mandatory summer as well as winter pruning.
