Variety description

The raspberry 'Meeker' is an American summer raspberry variety, which is characterized by the strong formation of young canes and shiny dark red fruits. It is easy to care for and only needs a sunny location and a pruning in late autumn. The fruits are juicy, sweet, rather firm and store well. The cultivation of the fast-growing variety is unproblematic, but waterlogging should be avoided at all costs. The 'Meeker' raspberry is hardy and produces fruit on long, flexible 2-year-old canes that are easy to harvest.
