Variety description

The dwarf mulberry 'Mojo Berry' is a milestone in terms of mulberry breeding: compact growth, around 150 cm height after years, large yields and months of harvest.
The dwarf 'Mojo Berry' originates from Japan and was voted Plant of the Year at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2017. Thanks to its compact growth, the dwarf mulberry 'Mojo Berry' is also suitable for growing in containers. So mulberries on a balcony and/or terrace suddenly become realistic.

The fact that 'Mojo Berry' has a very long harvest period, starting in June and lasting until the end of September, also speaks in favour of container cultivation. The subsequent ripening offers the possibility to continuously harvest a few berries for the morning muesli, for example.

'Mojo Berry' bears on annual and perennial wood. It produces very sweet, medium-sized mulberries and bears fruit from the third year of growth.
