Variety description

Die Freilandtomate OpenSky® 'Orangelina®' überzeugt durch eine Vielzahl von leuchtend orangenen kleinen Cherrytomaten. Die intensiv orange-gefärbten Cherrytomaten schmecken erfrischend süß-säuerlich mit einem guten Tomatenaroma. Je reifer die Früchte werden – umso intensiver wird die orange Farbe der Früchte – desto süßer werden die Früchte. Idealerweise wartet man mit der Ernte bis zur Vollreife der dann leuchtend orangefarbenen Früchte.

OpenSky® 'Orangelina®' ist eine starkwachsende Stabtomatensorte, die am besten mit 2 Trieben gezogen wird. Durch den größeren Fruchtbehang, erhöht, man einerseits den Ertrag und andererseits vermindert man so auch etwas das vegetative Wachstum. Durch das Entfernen der unteren Blätter wird sowohl der Infektionsdruck durch die Kraut- und Braunfäule, als auch die Photosynthese-Leistung reduziert. Wodurch ebenfalls das vegetative Wachstum eingebremst wird.
