Variety description

Schlaraffia® 'Plentiful®' is the sister variety to 'Naschmich®', with the same growth characteristics as all Schlaraffia® varieties: significantly reduced growth - maximum rod length of 150 cm, as well as stable and upright rods that require little or no support. In addition, the two red Schlaraffia® varieties – 'Plentiful®' & 'Naschmich®' – are not dissimilar in their fruit characteristics either; the two varieties mainly differ in their respective ripening behavior.
Schlaraffia® 'Plentiful®' also has large and dark red fruits, however the fruit size decreases somewhat during the rather long harvest window. And here we are at the biggest difference. Where 'Naschmich®' ripens in a short period of time, Schlaraffia® 'Plentiful®' has a significantly longer harvest window. This begins similarly early from the end of July, but lasts until mid-September and thus lasts almost twice as long as with the sister variety. Likewise, there is no big difference in the overall yield, only that with Schlarafiia® 'Plentiful®' it just takes a little longer until everything is harvested.
