Variety description

The high-yielding sweet potato variety Thanksgiver® ‘Yellow’ stands out for its large tubers with orange-pink skin and creamy-yellow flesh. When cooked, Thanksgiver® ‘Yellow’ has a creamy, soft and melt-in-the-mouth texture. It has a pleasantly sweet flavour – less sweet than the Sugaroot® varieties – ranging from fruity and neutral to with subtle caramel notes.

As a plant, Thanksgiver® ‘Yellow’ is vigorous with a trailing habit. The leaves are fresh green and arrow-shaped. 

If planted by the end of May, harvesting can begin from the end of September. The longer the tubers remain in the ground, the larger they can grow.
