Variety description

'Tytti' is a compact female sea buckthorn variety that originates from Finland. The natural selection hardly grows taller than 2 m and thus remains significantly smaller than conventional sea buckthorn varieties. Moreover, 'Tytti' delivers yields quite soon after planting and bears abundant fruit. The berries are an important source of food for birds in the winter, provided they are not harvested beforehand The best harvest time is from mid-August to the end of September.
