Variety description

The 'White Versailles' currant is a French variety that is more than 170 years old. It grows vigorously, is self-fertile and has low demands. The berries are rather small but sweet and are on long clusters. The ripening period is mid-late, mid-July.

The 'White Versailles' reaches a height of around 150 cm. The two-year-old wood bears fruit. In order to keep growth and fertility going, 2 - 3 older shoots are completely removed every year.
