Variety description

Sugaroot® 'White' is the sweetest variety in the Lubera Edibles sweet potato range. When cooked, the variety has a creamy, melting texture, ideal for sweet potato mash.

Throughout the summer, the fast-growing Sugaroot® 'White' forms metre-long shoots. The healthy foliage has a broad, heart-shaped form and is quite dark. The tubers of Sugaroot® 'White' are mostly thick and somewhat elongated.

Under the dark purple skin, surprisingly light, almost whitish to cream-coloured flesh appears. This is a very attractive variety.
